Export Favourites, Bookmarks and Passwords from Edge and Chrome
EXPORTING FAVOURITES & PASSWORDS
Exporting your favourites/bookmarks may be required if you are moving from one system to another. Whilst the favourites should sync with the cloud provider (such as Microsoft 365 or Google) sometimes this is not setup and the favourites are stored locally on the machine.
We recommend backing up your favourites and passwords to allow them to be easily imported into the new system.
It is possible to export from one browser and import into the other. For Harbour Schools Partnership, we would be looking to export from Edge and Chrome, and import into Edge only.
If your machine is going to be wiped, please ensure that you save the file onto a memory stick or on cloud storage, such as OneDrive.
