Printix - Printing from a Chromebook

ADD A PRINTER

Open up the web browser (Google Chrome)

Click on the “TA” logo (top right of the screen).

A menu will then appear below the logo as shown below. Click on “Sign In”.

Once you click on “Sign In”, a new page will appear. Click on the “Sign in with Microsoft” button.

You will then automatically be signed into the Printix app. A box will appear displaying your name in the top right (covered in red in the screenshot below). This shows that you are now signed into the app. Next, you will need to click on the “ventrus.printix.net” shown below, highlighted yellow.

A box will then appear. Click on “Open Printix App”.

Click on the 3 horizontal lines (to the right of the window) and then on “Printers”.

In the window that appears, click on your printer name, e.g. “Pupil Printer – X” and your printer will then be available to use.

PRINTING

Once the printer has been added, you will be able to print to the printer.

To do this, click on the “Destination” drop down menu, select “See more” and then click on the “Pupil Printer – X” followed by “Print”.
